IENE (Infrastructure & Ecology Network Europe) is a network of experts working on various aspects of transport, infrastructure, and ecology. Every other year this platform organises an international conference specifically on biodiversity and infrastructure (not only transport, but also energy, etc.). In addition to lectures, there are also field trips, workshops, training sessions and poster sessions.
The upcoming conference, whose main organiser is the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic, entitled "Biodiversity in the Headlight of Future Transport", will take place on 9-13 September 2024 at the Czech University of Life Sciences. We are expecting approximately 250-300 participants, and we are planning online participation too.
